HABITAT FOR HUMANITY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Saturday, March 6, Habitat for Humanity of Iredell County will be breaking ground on the 2010 Apostle Build House in the Fourth Creek Village.  All members of this church and friends of Habitat are invited to join for the ground breaking ceremony and stay for the first day of framing.  There is nothing quite like seeing those first walls go up.  Join us!  Bring a hammer!

NEW COMMUNION OPPORTUNITIES: During the season of Lent First Presbyterian Church is offering more frequent celebration of the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Consider taking advantage of these opportunities for spiritual growth. Besides our regular celebration of the sacrament at 11:00 on Sunday, March 7, informal services will be held in the chapel at 9:15 a.m. on February 28, March 14, 21, and 28.

MISSIONFEST 2010: Please save the date!  March 14, 2010 the youth of FPC Statesville will be hosting Missionfest 2010, a celebration of what God is doing in Statesville, throughout the United States, around the world, and in their daily lives.  The ACC tournament championship game will have just ended as we are sitting down to dinner at 5:30 pm so come celebrate the mission of the church with your church family!  Stay tuned for information about the menu and the cost per plate.  All proceeds go to benefit the Youth Summer Mission Fund.

THE PRESBYTERIAN COLLLEGE CHOIR and the PC Ringers will be singing at First Presbyterian Church in Hickory on Tuesday, March 2, at 7:00 p.m. The sounds of anthems, sacred hymns, songs, and spiritual songs will fill the sanctuary. The PC Choir is the premier touring choral ensemble at Presbyterian College and is on a spring tour. The PC Ringer is one of the finest collegiate bell choirs in the Southeast U.S. The repertoire for the concert will be entirely sacred.
