David LaMotte in Concert Sunday, October 23

Internationally renowned musician, speaker, & author David LaMotte recently released his first studio album in over a decade. The album, “The Other Way Around,” heavily influenced by his travels around the globe, features musicians from six continents and covers genres from blues to bluegrass, jazz to gospel to southern rock.

Come at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, at Taylorsville Presbyterian Church for an evening with David, one of his first shows since the album’s release. The concert is free to the public. An offering will be collected for P.E.G. Partners during the show.

This concert is presented to dedicate the completed renovations to Taylorsville Presbyterian Church’s sanctuary. The historic building and bell tower were severely damaged when an oak tree fell on the church during a storm last year. Several of Taylorsville’s neighbors are co-sponsoring the concert. It is hoped our churches will come together in this beautifully renewed space to celebrate what we have in common: a connectional Church, a heart for peace and justice, and a deep love for the music of David LaMotte.

Sponsored by Concord Presbyterian Church, First Presbyterian Church (Mocksville), First Presbyterian Church (Statesville), Logan Presbyterian Church, North Wilkesboro Presbyterian Church, Salem Presbytery's Youth Council, Taylorsville Presbyterian Church.

To navigate to Taylorsville Presbyterian use this address: 75 2nd St SW, Taylorsville NC. Park on the street or in the adjacent lots across Main Avenue Drive.
