Our preschool was founded in the fall of 1965, and we have continued to have a happy and fulfilling relationship with the community and with our preschool families. We understand that preschool years are a very special time in your child’s life. We are here to make that step easier and more enjoyable for you and your child. Our classes are designed to provide a Christian atmosphere with a group experience in which the whole child can grow. Each day is filled with fun and exciting developmentally appropriate learning activities to help your child develop academically, socially and spiritually throughout the year. Our classes explore many different concepts and themes throughout their year together. While at preschool the children participate in circle time, center activities, art, sensory experiences, fine/gross motor challenges, literacy, math, science, music and outdoor play. All of our children participate in Letterland, an early learning phonics program. Our 4 year old classes participate in a weekly chapel time as part of our curriculum.
We are a half day preschool currently serving over 130 children ages 1-5 with Monday-Friday class options. All FPC Preschool classes are staffed and taught by two teachers with a low student/teacher ratio. All staff members are CPR and First Aid certified.
